My name is Peter Pennekamp. I am 50 years old, married and have 3 children.

From 1986 I am a member of a pigeon association. After studying economics, in 1996 I took over the bicycle shop from my father. After 12 successful years I sold the business and I got more time for the pigeons. The combination of your own company and a lot of time for the pigeons was difficult and taking part in competitions at a high level.

At the end of 2006 a big wish was fulfilled: a new pigeon loft from the well-known loft builder Nico Pronk from Mill was purchased.

In 2007 I started to take part in the competitions again.

I bought 6 enthusiastic youngsters from Nico Jan Koenders, including the 06-291 and the 06-293.

The 06-293 won as a yearling a 1st prize in the division on Peronne against 10.562 pigeons!

The 06-291, son of stock father "De Joop" by Nico Jan Koenders, was a good flyer but an even better breeder. O.a. father of:

"Esther" 12-767: 1st prize Vervins against 7.148 pigeons and also fastest of 12.051 pigeons.

"Super 041" 11-041: She won a 1st prize Strombeek against 2.174 pigeons.

In 2009 I won my first NPO race. Again with an overused Nico Jan Koenders pigeon!

"Pele" won 1st NPO Orleans against 4,130 pigeons.

Until last year, the entire general speed program was played including the one day long distance.

From season 2017 the focus is on the one day long distance and the 3 NPO races for youngsters.
